Description
A special dish handmade in Aomori Prefecture in Japan by woodworker Kentaro Ooyu. This plate is ideal for sharing and serving food on the table, and is made using Japanese walnut.
The form looks very natural and has lots of character, which is helped by the shiny but smooth lacquer coating. On the bottom of the dish you’ll find the name of the wood inscribed, “Onigurumi” written in Japanese, the word for a specific species of walnut.
